Rapid Mn ore price decline gains momentum, UMK and Jupiter slash September quotesUnited Manganese of Kalahari (UMK), one of the leading suppliers of manganese ore on the global market, sharply slashed quotations for September. Thus, semi-carbonate raw material (36% Mn) will be available to Chinese buyers at $3.80/dmtu CIF China, which is 38% lower than in June. Jupiter Mines Limited followed its competitors, dropping the price of its ore (36.5% Mn) from Tshipi Borwa Manganese mine by 38% to $3.9/dmtu CIF China for delivery in September.
