Board and executive pay for listed companies is usually aligned with profit. A company that aligned remuneration with minimizing tax would draw all sorts of attention to itself.
They drew attention to themselves in 2016 for inflating profits- minimizing expenses.
The most recent drag on the price is contract quality.
