Austal USA’s Larry Ryder on NBC at the weekend addressing the huge expansion underway of the Mobile shipyard site:
I am starting to feel as though we are not getting much beneficial ordinary newsflow through to us in Australia on what exactly is going on with US operations - this is significant news to them locally, and highly positive to the company’s overall valuation and strategic footprint. It may not be a price sensitive market announcement, but it’s surely worthy of a shareholder update.
