    makattack, the question was simple.

    The deaths occurred after Howard had already instigated the "Pacific Solution", (not before).

    You claimed Howard did something about it (the deaths), so the question was, what did Howard do?

    Obviously it was not the implementation of the "Pacific Solution", as it was already in place prior to the deaths.

    If your argument is Howard implemented the "Pacific Solution" as to what Howard did about the deaths, then you would be wrong.

    The "Pacific Solution" was already implemented, so you can't implement it again if it is already going.

    The fact is over 350 deaths occurred while the "Pacific Solution" was in place.

    Which brings us back to my initial post regarding, "who should apologise first, Rudd or Howard?".

    Instead of being so precious and quickly jumping to defend your "football team", maybe take some time to read posts more thoroughly and check the details and facts before replying.
