I know it’s not addressed to me but hey it’s public. The answer isn’t simple. Different countries have different tax rates and rules for residential housing including private and rental. It also depends on where you are a tax resident and your primary source of income.
I’ve been involved with hiring people from different parts of Europe both migration and short, medium and longer term placements here and so exposed to some of the challenges with different tax laws and how income is treated in different situations
best to seek advice from a tax expert both here and the target country if they are going to be living here with properties there. It’s complicated and I wouldn’t be making decisions without talking to someone who actually knows what they are talking about
