    Too true, kaya.

Why I believe papers will remain is based purely on people's manner in the way they scan information on a page to see what interests them. A computer screen has limits to what it can show, a newspaper presents a wider scope of prospects of interest coupled with pictures.

The part that worries me, which has nothing to do with giving trees a break, is that the demise of newspapers will be hastened by the demise of great writing.

I am yet to find great writing on the net. Kiddies write on the net. Fine writers confine themselves to paper. And that will not change in this or the next generation as long as books - and newspapers - are produced.

Just some thoughts late at night.
