I defer to your knowledege of working with kids. I can only hope that one day a child shuts down the PC and picks up a book and realises the thrill of words leaping off the page to create such thrilling imagery.

For a child to find, for example, the author Tim Winton would be a great start to seeing that the world outside of a computer can be exciting. To recognise the wonder of placing one word after another in perfect formation to create a story that exists solely in the mind.

Maybe one day.
