CF Industrieshas announced a joint venture with Japan’s JERA and Mitsui to build the world’s largest low-carbon ammonia plant in Louisiana. The $4 billion project will use autothermal reforming and CCS to sequester ~2.3Mt of CO₂ annually, with production expected to begin in 2029.
As momentum builds globally, we are progressing our clean ammonia project, WAH2, in Western Australia to help meet growing demand and support the energy transition.
