I just wanted to clarify something - you're saying your local Coles always has long queues and operates in such a way that is doesn't overstaff its checkouts. This is opposed to Safeway that has staff at every checkout even though the queues are small. So who's got it wrong? Seems to me that if it's really as bad as you say it is, nobody should be queueing up at Coles, they should all be flocking to Safeway.
