Actually I love multicultural Australia. Generally multiculturalism has worked very well in this country. It's unfortunate that some more recent arrivals follow a religion which has it's own laws and customs which are at odds with multiculturism and generally reject intergration and acceptance of Australian laws and values. This group are undermining decades of successful intergration of new arrivals into the broader Australian society.
I think the only answer is for anyone wanting to come here to be screened for compatibility and ability to fully accept contemporay Australian values. Not sure how this can be done but it's time to find a way and start doing it.
