re: osh share price yeah i dunno bout poor management. just a quick looksee at some of their 'poor' achievements over the last few yrs:

* took over orogen when oil prices were worse than rock bottom;
* bought chevron's share of oil fields at um near rock bottom oil prices;
* undertook a share buyback when shareprice was below $1;
* managed to persuade exxon mobil to enter feed for the png gas project; &
* succesfully diversified oil production via yemen.

as for costs, they seem to have controlled costs somewhat since taking png operatorship. admittedly they probably lost a bit of control on costs on their se mananda project.

i just think the share price is where it is because it probably needs a good announcement or two to kick it along from here.

if these guys get the gas project over the line then i wouldnt have any issues with management giving themselves a big fat bonus.
