re: more oil 1inch choke
The problem with a larger choke may be that the well can cone water or gas (depending on how succesfully the well is perforated). Oil companies do better by conserving their oil fields to try maximise recovery vs economy. You are correct in your assumption bigger choke = more flow, but the downside is that the reservoir pressure decline may be too great and this would present recovery problems for other wells in the area. Some fields have down-hole pumps (or beam pumps) as they have minimal down-hole pressure to force the fluid to the surface. HDR may require a reinjection compressor to reinject gas and keep the field gas cap pressured. Still, we don't know enough about the field as yet to make any solid guesses.
