Agree partially, neither Pesutto nor Guy are the answer. Pesutto lost Hawthorn, I mean that should be the end of his career just for that alone, like the Paul Fletcher of Victoria after the next election. Guy was atrocious as leader and Napthine’s Planning Minister.
Coincidentally, Fletcher wants Lib Party funds for Bradfield even tho it used to be safest seat or close to it in the country and now it looks likely to be won by an Independent in a Federal Election that Morrison will otherwise win. Minns is presumed not to be Leader, they hope it to be Albo.
So annoyed of lack of party funds, Fletcher’s ABC will run a Get Morrison story on Monday, a holiday in Australia, declaring Morrison to have link to far right businessmen and bankrupts in the Liberal Party. Again, I do not suggest the ABC allegations are true just that they are being made.
Fletcher will probably lose Bradfield to Emma Addario, a Roseville Cinema Owner and doyen of the left who is also popular amongst the Lisa Wilkinson/ Fitzimmons rugby circles and the Sydney Cafe and Melbourne Docklands arts communities. There is even a street in the middle of the Bradfield electorate called Minns Street in Gordon where one of the bankrupts in ABC’s story lived and did some planning before being part of the Caringbah Branch of the Liberal Party.
But Paul Fletcher’s ABC and his great mate Michaelia Cash, Sally Neighbor and Louise Milligan never run anything on Andrews and Victoria.
Why, because as everyone realizes, who XXXXXXX cares?
