Vmoto's supposed distributor in Indonesia has now taken on the distributorship for Ducati to add to Zero electric motorcycles and Peugot petrol scooters.  So I guess at least they are broadening their 2 wheeler focus to the point where their distributorship for the 2 wheelers is likely to be separate from their motor vehicle business.

Not sure where their Vmoto distributorship is at.....no mention in the article.   Previous press releases indicated that they were initially going to take knockdown versions of Vmoto models and assemble in Indo with an ultimate view of manufacturing in Indo.

Official Garansindo "Fly the Flag" Ducati in Indonesia

Jakarta, KompasOtomotif - Rumors began around the transfer agent of the sole importer of Ducati in Indonesia finally answered.  Ducati Motor Holding SpA (Italy) announced that it has established formal cooperation with PT Garansindo Euro Sports as a new agency in the country.

Ducati official import status in Indonesia, owned by Garansindo just started. "With a portfolio that strong in the premium segment, the sole distributor who is new (Garansindo) is fully committed to the experience and expertise that exist to manage and develop the market in line with the global strategy of Ducati," said Marco Biondi, Regional Director Asia division of Sales and Marketing for Ducati Motor Holding , the official information, on Tuesday (1/12/2016) morning.

Marco said, with positive growth in the middle segment and on a bike in the past two years, making Indonesia a major market in Asia who make Ducati.  "We are also grateful to the previous distributor (PT Supermoto) above what they've run until the end of 2015. We would like to be successful in the re which started to come."

One thing is proposing Garansindo promise, which is an incredible experience for fans of motorcycles in Indonesia.

Garansindo also would bring mainstay Ducati models to Indonesia, a sort of Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Scrambler, and Superbike.

Including two new models which has just been launched in Italy, such as the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak Endurodan, 959 Panigale Superbike, Hypermotard 939, XDiavel, and Scrambler Sixty2.
