    Great post PJ.

Following some of the naysayers comments about the Bulk Sampling being non-representative I thought I would have a look at what 50tonne represents in terms of number of holes.

Starting with the following assumptions (which the Geo's might like to adjust for us if off the mark):-
    - The Bulk Samples are only from the 800m Bonanza Zone
    - The samples come from 85mmDia Diamond Cores
    - Average hole depth of 150metres
    - SG of 3

By my reckoning each hole calc's out to be 2.55tonne of core. If this is correct then there would be product from 20holes @ 150metre depth making up the 50tonne sample which over 800metres equates to 1 hole per 40metres. Probably not JORC compliant but not too shabby by my reckoning.

When the sample results emerge, the first back of envelope calc I'll be doing is 800(length)x35(width)x150(depth)x3(SG)x% to give me tonneage of copper. And yes I appreciate that the pit design, batters etc will mean a lot of "chaff" will need to be excavated to get the depth.

So tear me to bits guys but please be specific and constructive so that we can all get a better handle on the situation.

    Cheers - Surfydad
