Market commentary is very positive on this merger and in addition the article in "The Australian" sheds a new light on the Balla Balla project.
It seems closer to commercialisation than I first thought and would be a very interesting addition to Ridley for the Chinese or Indian strategic partner. Balla Balla is smaller than Ridley but it has both a higher grade and transportation advantages from the water aquifer.
It now seems very clear why the rise in AGO share price following the initial fall after the trading halt was lifted.
