I found anarticle by Keith Windschuttle in the Oz of 21 April 2011. It concerns anincident that occurred on Q and A some days earlier. The Chairperson ofthe NT Indigenous Affairs Advisory Council, Bess Nungarrayi Price, spokefavourably about the Howard Government’s intervention into NTcommunities. Aboriginal academic, Larissa Behrendt, sent a tweet to theABC saying “I watched a show where a guy had sex with a horse and I’m sure itwas less offensive than Bess Price”. Not a word of Behrendt’s responseappeared in the SMH, AFR or the Sun Herald.
Oh well Iguess if you can’t rationally challenge a statement or point of view you becomevindictive and sling mud. Are these the sort of people that Albo listenedto before going off on the Voice Odyssey?
