By sniping at Goodall I assume you must have supported Heugh back then CB? I remember the shareholders deciding the company needed a new driver. JH had done a good job accumulating acreage to that point but got himself into trouble with the board and the share capital had blown out through some bond financing deal he used to raise money. There were squillions of shares on issue!
Heugh proved no match for Cottee in dealing with corporates in the opinion of the larger institutional shareholders who sided with the board (as they seem to do) and their votes carried the day.
