    My pleasure Thyshift,

Germanys lignite history shows lignite will be burnt well into the future - especially in Asia - its cheap and who can deny them the opportunity to develop - Asia has no alternative but to burn their cheap lignite.

Germany is the worlds 4th largest economy and they burn nearly 3 times what Victoria burns. You would think the Germans, being wealthy, would be moving away from lignite. Instead they are expanding. There are domestic pressures to maintain the status quo. So burn lignite they will - and we in Australia ( and more so Asia ) are in the same position as Germany imo. There is only one proven method of burning lignite " responsibly " and that is Coldry. The water bi- product is the clincher. Coldry is the logical front end solution. Go Kos and team !

The author of the below article is an activist AGAINST lignite mining - but he is resigned to the inevitable.

" But if Germany wants to keep its lights on, it’s logical to assume that the country’s lignite will continue to be a major source of energy for electricity generation for decades to come regardless of whether CCS proves viable or not."
