NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. stocks are likely to take another pounding Thursday, as overseas markets plunged on continued credit worries and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson attempted to alleviate fears about the economic fallout from the turmoil.
At 7:37 a.m. ET, Nasdaq and S&P futures were plunging, with a comparison to fair value pointing to a sharply lower start for Wall Street.
