What is the FAR SP likely to be if oil approaches US$40/barrel as some reports are now speculating that the even oil majors outside of OPEC can not survive long term? What is likely to happen to most of the small players like FAR if the oil majors are hurting because of a price war with OPEC?

Personally I doubt it will fall to $40 but it will depend on the action of OPEC in the next year. Unless they call an emergency meeting OPEC will not change their current market stratagem before June next year which means that the price of oil will be under pressure for at least 6 months unless the world economy manages to accelerate and take up the slack.

It will take a better investor than me to pick the exact bottom of the oil market and SP of oil explorers and producers in the months to come. I doubt even the expert could do it until after it has happened! To many "falling knives" out there ATM IMO.
