it's pretty easy to see why if you are a religious freak or a right wing rabid --
if a sharp as a tack kid at 6 years old started philosophy - by the time they were 10 - they'd tear these conservative and religious nutters apart at the seams in debates
it's an embarrassment when you get beaten senseless by a 10 year old
