I'm about to run out of battery power, the stat below doesnt differentiate between pistols and rifles but nonetheless the number of firearms per capita would probably outstrip hammers as you usually only need one hammer per household if you have one at all.
So conservatively maybe one in four people have hammers?
So maybe 25 per 100 per capita as apposed to firearms below:
