Yes, as soon as you move they are deemed as sold.
Remember though that super is going to be less tax anyway but less accessible to out liquid funds. For those close to retirement it can give access to lower tax even if held less than one year. Especially as it seems these days some are retiring multiple times to access liquid funds.
I wouldn't read too much into it.
