    Basically yes. CETO5 pumped pressurised water to shore. Pushing it through a membrane produced fresh water via reverse osmosis. It was a component of the CETO5 system.

    CETO6 delivers electricity to shore. Yes, that can be used to run a de-sal unit, but it's no longer part of the system, it's just an application of electricity like light bulbs or a microwave oven.
