rocks provide important habitat values for many endangered species. These species are endangered because the concrete jungle gorilla likes to have an endless supply of remnant bush features (e.g. rocks) as broders to thier gardens .....
Ironic isn't it. We seek rocks in our gardens as landscape features to compensate for our 'loss' of natural beauty in our diminishing bushland.
Did you know that people actually scour the countryside for bush rock, rip it out where ever they can find it (inc national parks) and sell it to you as a fine piece of natural art?
May I repeat there are very good reasons why rocks should be kept in our environment. Or would you rather astroturf?
