I'm not sure about an oversupply of lithium given the potential for energy storage applications in the future. (We just have to hope that lithium is is the preferred storage source going forward over other battery types)
Articles like this below show electric car sales of 5 times that of 2011 and set to grow much more. I think the days of oil ruling the world are numbered
