It would be nice if the 'single-digit billions' is $9B (ha ha). As I have posted previously Rio is the likely suiter but they may well bring in a Chinese partner. Kalahari will sell for the right price and try and find another opportunity, what would they want with a mine ?

Extract owns the undeveloped Rossing South deposit, near Rio?s Rossing mine in Namibia.
Japanese company Itochu has bought 10.3 per cent but might be willing to cut a deal for a
minority stake for Rio.
