King, what form do these farmers envisage the NBN rollout is giong to take. Almost every farm property in Australia is going to have optic fibre ploughed across their farmlands at the same depth as the gas pipelines. It will only be in suburbia where it will be strung along existing poles - too many heads in the sand at present. I suppose they'll still have time to find an endangered plant or parrot to throw into the mix,
