I agree with you on this. For some reason ANZ dont want to toe the line it seems. They insist on using the share registry numbers which are at least 3 trading days behind reality.
Every other company that makes substantial shareholder notices does so on the basis of sold shares regardless of settlement.
I dont know why the ASX continues to allow them to do this? Its confusing to say the least and its not up to date information, so its not that much use.
