Not a silly question but they are doing what the banks want and that is to sell assest and reduce debt as soon as practical without a firesale. A spp probably would not be that successful as investors would be wary of putting more money into Centro at a time when debt level is too high.
things should improve once they confirm sale of the 4 centres here - and at a good price.
