Seems to be a few people in denial.

You have a project which is on time etc etc - and announce that it is as expected, the correct thing to do.

After that announcement you have a problem which is going to cause a cost and time blowout and you announce that to the market, the correct thing to do.

What do you expect the management to do??

Perhaps you would feel better if we had fortune tellers for MD, never they may do better!!!
