Was thinking about the time when CER became aquainted with alot of american shopping centres.
Anywayz....
Share price will be indicative of dividends distributed.
In the past CER was earning 13c a share and paying out close to 100 percent of that.
Now CER earns around 8 to 9c and pays only around 4 percent of their earnings. This is at a time when leases are low and rent is cheap and aussie dollar is high.
Look to the future and and try and estimate their future earnings. Then imagine what kind of percentage that they will payout.
