Bush fires are a worry - I have been trying to keep my 'garden' clean of leaves - need to buy walky-talky - and check my radio to see if it works with batteries. I have realised 'heat' is just as debilitating as 'very cold' except its more dangerous.
I am constantly surprised there is no loss of life so far and the damage to homes over in the Eastern States is relatively small, except there is a constant smoke haze over Sydney.
In Central Europe they are having heavy snowfalls right now and by an indefatigable 'denierl of climate change' friend of mine is used as proof that there is no global warming - haha - wrote to him about bush fires here in W.A. and above all in the Eastern States - no response. The entire global weather systems are out of kilter.
Good luck to you all and thanks to God for our wonderful fire fighters who continue to battle the fires in the horrendous heat etc. - they are truly wonderful men! Taurisk
