An extract from a subscription service that summarises part of the reason for upward pressure on Treasury yields (conversely downward pressure on PMs) and the long term outlook for treasuries.
As suggested in an earlier post, this blip is expected to be similar to the recent US10Y blip we saw in June. The longer term yield downward profile remains intact and therefore the debasement of the US$ or King $ cycle alluded to by gb77 and others.
