fwiw - i was interested by a video I watched about 2 months ago - sorry cant point to source.

anyway - the thrust was that US should get a demographic boost from about 2023-4 as boomers rolling off gets outweighed by millenials and whatever the next cohort is moving into early/primary wage growth phases of their lives.

thats a bit of counter narrative I havent heard before that is worth keeping in the back of mind re US real gdp growth, yield expectations etc

Ive seen Alhambra previously allude to something like that with a 'best dirty shirt' analysis for how longer term US bond demand should track from 2024-5

not actionable yet - but something to watch for because that could mean an inflection next year assuming market is in a position to look at out years
