Roads, power, water, a port and accomodation (in Kununurra). They have a deposit that is virtually at surface. Their native title is sorted, environment roadblocks are gone. I think it even has a mining licence, as the previous owner was about to begin but one of their other projects made them go broke. There is estimated to be about $100m to spend to get into operation, but having all of the above makes it much quicker and cheaper and there aren’t many, if any, projects of this potential with less than $100m to spend.

in regards to the price, keep in mind that the AUD has been falling for years and international investors won’t buy when the currency is falling. Now that it’s hopefully bottomed, and the economy here is likely to recover quicker it may bring them back. Plus there’s likely to be a commodity boom soon - but that’s a whole nother conversation...

also, lead and silver have not had boom conditions that other commodities have had. Gold is obviously doing that right now, and that’s where the speculators are. This project was great in that it was bought cheap and is well advanced, but as it wasn’t a discovery for PMY it never got the spike in interest or price that a fresh discovery will give. Look at G1a, a big discovery spike and lots of money raised on the higher market cap. Pmy needs a catalyst of its own and its best shot is the PFS and the sale of offtake, both of which are coming soon.

the problem with the discovery spike is that it is often the highest point for years, and then there is no opportunity to get in early. Pmy is pre-spike, and therefore requires a lot of faith that speculators will act like investors, right up until a large investor comes along and soaks up all of these little holders. But it is viable on every metric, is streets ahead of most deposits in terms of development (licensing, approvals and infrastructure) and offers a speedy path to mining with low costs and high margins.

Eventually everyone will wish they had bought in here, but until then it will test your resolve every day. Best to consider that the share price will eventually catch up rather than fret about why it’s been on sale at such a discount for so long. There aren’t any hidden nasties, the stock isn’t manipulated, it’s just not had the sparkle that other little explorers have....yet.
