imho only, i dont think the current bidder would not want to miss an opurtunity of having a major pharma market share in "OZ".

so let me ask you this:
would you rather start a company like sigma which will take time(without is debt ofcourse) or would you buy it in the near term and fix it if you have the funds?

Is it the same Lazard one of the big shareholders representing the company to attract higher bids?

anything can span out of this bid i think.
