My reading of this is that Area A contains a total inferred and indicated resource of 1.218Bt. Area B sits within area A and contains a JORC compliant indicated resource of 469Mt. Therefore the remaining indicated and inferred resource sits within area A but outside of the smallish area B. The resource thats in area A that is excluded from this JORC thereby totals 749Mt. Add the 749Mt in Area A to the 469Mt in area B and what do you have ? 1.218 Bt.
The focus is on upgrading part of the resource from indicated to inferred and that is what they have done. They don't have enough data to upgrade the entire resource in area A so they focused on a subsection, ie section B. The remaining resource in section A will be the subject of subsequent upgrades as the data becomes available.
I don't think the ore has gone anywhere and we have to remember what they are trying to do, ie upgrade the value of part of the resource by recategorising it from inferred to indicated.
