    why do people think they have the right to deny others the right to decide their own lives for themselves?

    I don't know your voting preferences @Old_mate, but I've always understood "Liberal" meant allowing others the same rights as everyone.

    these attacks from the right on people who choose to live their own way are merely a hatred of any who don't live as they do.

    its purest hypocrisy.
