The next News Poll has all of them coming out badly, from Palaszscuk to Morrison to Barr To Andrews to Marshall, Gutwein even Berejiklian.
Incumbency is now a problem for all the parties as the recession grips the continent and NZ.
It will recover fairly rapidly early next year but sort of needs sentiment to turn.
Based on the NewsPoll results, Palaszscuk looks gone. the internal polling shows a three horse race in Inla with the Greens possibly getting up on ALP preferences, Trad gone in South Brisbane which is now Greens likely victory, Frecklington’s marginal seat “Octopussy” candidates not getting their fair share of the 2PP statewide vote due to poor campaigning.
The billboards and Pro-ALP ECQ decisions re postals and absentees might be holding up the ALP vote but it does not appear the ALP have a hope of winning in their own right as the Greens look likely to hold balance of power if the LNP do not win. ONA and KAP unlikely to win any more regional seats than they already hold as well.
