Tullow Oil sees 1st gas from Ketch-9 well towards end-June, later than expected
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Tullow Oil PLC said it expects the first gas from the Ketch-9 well towards the end of June, later than previously anticipated, adding that Thurne and Kelvin are scheduled to come on stream in the fourth quarter.
In an AGM statement, the independent oil and gas, exploration and production group said its African oil production will continue to increase over the remainder of 2007, given production from its Chinguetti field in Mauritania, West Espoir in Cote d'Ivoire and Okume in Equatorial Guinea.
It plans to plans to continue its active exploration programme in Africa by drilling a total of 10 exploration wells during 2007, four of which will be in Uganda. Good Luck to all TLW holders
