Low relief means that the vertical height of the structure is low relative to the lateral extent i.e. The structure has a flat profile in x-sectional view. This is why the fact that SNE-3 came in 11 m high(CNE presentation) to prognosis is so important. The seismic time to depth conversion is then adjusted for the new top reservoir depth in the seismic interpretation and it pulls up the top structure surface to the south, east and west whilst the oil down to true vertical depth remains the same. Hence the reservoir extent is extended areally with a corresponding increase in oil initially in place volumes.
