Website crikey.com did a survey of the "biases" of the various opinion polls over time a while ago. It showed that the difference between the various pollsters was negligible over a long period of time but Newspoll was SLIGHTLY more favourable to the ALP than any other poll. The only thing a polling agency would achieve by skewing the results to their or their clients political bias would be to make the research worthless. As to the "White trash of Asia" comment it was the yellow, slanty eyed, bandy legged leader of Singapore: Lee Kuan Yew.
