Based on the latest holdings statement, CEO Darryl Abotomley has taken a $3 million haircut on the value of his Bapcor shares.
Maybe he regrets agreeing back in February to staying on until 2023.
Mr.Market hates, really hates sudden departures of CEO’s especially when they had recently agreed to stay longer.
Chairwoman Margie Haseltine needs to have a good think how badly she has handled this. I suspect following the departure of previous chairman Andrew Harrison the Bapcor Board has dropped the ball on succession planning. Poor form from the Board.
