every individual business has a lifespan done are a few hundred years some are a couple of years.
the only way to avoid this when handing down your shares to the great grand kids is to focus on ETF's.
l wouldn't worry about BAP while it's still in growth phase. eventually it will become a mature business before a gradual decline.
people are still buying coal shares. if your letting the 'life cycle of businesses' determine investment decisions focus on etf holdings which are ok
