morgan stanley places zinifex shares

SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Brokerage firm Morgan Stanley placed a A$292 million
parcel of shares in zinc miner Zinifex Ltd. (ZFX.AU) overnight, the Australian
Financial Review reports Tuesday in its Street Talk column.
The report says the shares, which represent a 5.4% stake, were sold at A$10.90
each.
The report says the bookbuild range was A$10.85 to A$11.05.
The seller was unnamed, but the report says it may have been Barclays Global
Investors, Farallon Capital Management or Merrill Lynch.
Zinifex shares last traded at A$11.46.
