As we are discussing strategy for holding for the medium term, some consideration needs to be given to the state of the company one to two years hence.
Whilst I agree that Analyst valuations shouldn't be taken as gospel if you do your own work and the conclusions drawn match, then further reassurance can be gained. I don't largely agree with JPM because they said so, I agree because there numbers are similar to mine. And I will and I have backed my own jundgement.
So my question to you patrick is, what is it that makes Lynas a bad medium term proposition.
Selling by Morgan Stanley is hardly enough to base a medium term decision. Especially given the shares they have sold to date have been held for about two months - and if you look at the holding notices the shares are actually registered to HSBC so who knows what is going on.
