JP Morgan have run the DCF valuation at a basket price which is significantly lower than what it is today and derived a valuation of $2.17, including the use of an elevated discount rate to account for risk.

So price looks good at current price of $1.50.

Who knows reasons for Morgan Stanley selling. Maybe they are taking profits before the end of the year, maybe they felt they had too much exposure to Lynas- who knows.....?

Anyway- you are entitled to your own opinion. As you say HC is for people to express divergent views. I however tend to agree with JP Morgan's valuation over yours.
