My guess is a response to lockdowns. The compensation shouldn’t really phase people given they already earmarked 15million to cover any risk. That and the approach they’ve taken will encourage stickiness of affected customers qnd put those who want to pursue a class action of the backfoot to provide real data around their losses.
but lockdowns + end of job keeper + uncertainty around the whole travel stuff = possible disruption to tyros customer.
